Dianne Hicks' experience in art began with taking oil painting classes with her mother in grade school, then later moved to formal watercolor classes and collage. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Texas, she now teaches classes and works from her studio where she creates and offers original art using elements including watercolor, custom pattern papers, hand carved stamps and collage.

Susan Ashley resides in Arlington, Texas but grew up in West Virginia in a family with Scottish roots where she was drawn to weaving Appalachian-tribbed style baskets. She has been a basket weaver for more than 30 years and has studied with well-known weavers all over the country. She likes to incorporate antlers and other natural materials into her work and in the last few years she has been making pineneedle baskets and weaving on gourds.<www.txweaver.com/newpage2012/newhome.htm>

Pavlina Panova who was born in Bulgaria where she received a Master’s Degree in Bulgarian language and literature.  In 1999 she came to America with her family and settled in Irving.  She received an Associate’s degree in Art from North Lake College and for the last few years has been actively working with Combining clay and leaves in her art work as is displayed in the beautiful piece  above.

Glass Light Christmas Craft
